Jacksonville, Florida; March 3, 2003 -- Patriot Transportation Holding, Inc. (NASDAQ-PATR)today announced senior management changes at its tank truck subsidiary, Florida Rock & Tank Lines, Inc.
Effective March 1, John R. Mabbett, III, President and Chief Executive Officer, became Chairman, and Robert E. Sandlin assumed the responsibility of President and Chief Executive Officer of Florida Rock & Tank Lines, Inc. Mr. Sandlin will continue to be based in Jacksonville, Florida and Mr. Mabbett will be relocating to his native state of Georgia
Mr. Sandlin has been employed by Florida Rock & Tank Lines, Inc. for over 18 years, most recently as Senior Vice President. Mr. Mabbett will directly oversee all operations in Georgia and Alabama in addition to continued involvement in the Company's strategic expansion.
