At Sunbelt Transport we realize that, to maintain success and driver morale, safety and concern for the driver and equipment must be a priority we act on each and every day.
It's the start of the new year (and millenium) 2001!
Let's resolve to enact the following:
Back-off tailgating - We don't get anywhere faster and it can ruin someone's day.
Safe separation - Can you stop in time if the car ahead brakes instantly?
Be a good guy on the road - What image are you trying to convey?
Stay alert and ready - Is pushing it with little sleep worth the risk of a death?
Inspect your equipment - Would you ride the space shuttle with faulty equipment?
Log your driving properly - DOT is checking this heavily. Stay current.
Your actions alone can make 2001 more enjoyable and prosperous! Have a good one. |
